Our Materials Engineering team plays a crucial role in ensuring the durability and performance of polymer materials used in vehicle components. We combine numerical simulations, laboratory testing, and real-world validation to optimize material properties and reduce the number of physical validation tests.

Internship Duration: Up to 6 months
Location: Materials Engineering Laboratory – Titu Technical Center
Work Mode: Hybrid

Internship overview

· 
Analyze the Physico-Mechanical Properties of Polymers : Study the correlation between material properties and the behavior of assembled plastic parts in vehicles.

· 
Optimize Validation Testing : Identify key parameters influencing material performance to reduce the number of validation tests while maintaining reliability.

· 
Conduct Laboratory Tests : Use various test methods to evaluate the mechanical and environmental resistance of polymers.

· 
Data Analysis & Reporting : Process test results, synthesize key findings, and propose improvements to validation processes.

What We Offer

Required Skills

Mandatory:

·  Engineering background (Materials Science, Mechanical, or related fields)
·  Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
·  Analytical mindset with synthesis & reporting abilities
·  Good communication and adaptability skills
·  Proficiency in English or French

Nice to have:

·  Understanding of polymeric materials and their behavior
·  Familiarity with chemical characterization techniques
·  Interest in automotive engineering and validation processes
