Job description

The Culture Intern assists the events and artist teams to develop and execute innovative event projects that highlight Red Bull as a positive and credible contributor to the UK music landscape. They will assist the Culture team on all aspects of delivering the summer programme of events including research, competitor analysis, planning and organisation, logistics and on-site event support including artist liaison roles with the opportunity to own and deliver small scale events by the end of the three months. This is a paid three-month internship from June to August. Please apply as soon as possible; applications close on 31st March.

Understanding London’s cultural landscape – An in-depth knowledge of the cutting edge culture landscape in London, with a focus on emerging trends and scenes, grass roots talent, competitor activity and innovative live events.   Reporting on this to the wider culture team and feeding into the monthly culture report.

  

·  Live Events

Delivering small scale events on behalf of the brand withing the Red Bull event space and studios and also in key On-Premise accounts. Assisting the events team in delivering larger scale projects across the summer programme.

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

· 
Marketing and live event knowledge and basic experience/understanding

· 
Must be immersed in London’s cultural/creative scenes including fashion, music, art and design

· 
An understanding of brands and how they operate within the above scenes

· 
A passion for live events, marketing and media

· 
Strategic thinker who uses initiative and takes ownership to “make things happen”

· 
Creative mind with a track record of putting new ideas into practice and assessing results

· 
An appreciation of consumer trends and insights (patterns, movements)

· 
Ability to constructively critique live events/brand activations

· 
Good organisational and time keeping skills

· 

We value experience over formal education.

· 

Fluent in written and spoken English, additional language skills an advantage
