Job description

The role of the Storeroom Support person is to ensure that the daily Storeroom material needs of the Storeroom and the service to the Maintenance planning organization is optimized. Maintain a reliable and stable Storeroom supply chain service level by understanding, tracking, and acting upon MRP exception messages daily. Own and manage the spares repair (refurbishment) process for both internal and external repairs / expense and capital Storeroom materials. Own and manage the internal assembly (production order) process. Create Stock Transport Orders to fulfill “plant to plant” needs. Manage and own the “Affiliate Sales” process (where necessary) to allow transfer of Storeroom materials where Stock Transport Order process is not feasible to transport the stock due to legal and financial requirements. Own & manage database work process and maintain material master data integrity post completion in database.
