Are you passionate about solving tough challenges? At P&G you can use your analytical skills to find creative solutions for consumer's everyday problems! If this sounds like fun, we would love to have you join us as a Summer Intern joining our Smart Products team.

The Smart Products team is looking for engineers with passion and talent for solving meaningful consumer problems through innovative technology! Starting with a broad vision of emergent technologies and a deep understanding of consumer issues that need to be solved, we use technologies such as devices, connectivity, machine learning, embedded systems, cloud computing, robotics, etc. to identify, synthesize, and prototype testable solutions in a fast-paced, hands-on, agile team environment.

Your work will include:

Mapping the landscape of emerging robotics hardware, software, and platforms relevant to home automation tasks.

Developing a working prototype with commercial hardware-software to solve a simplified version of the task.

Sharing key insights from the process with broader team to further collective understanding of the home automation space.

Handling software developed and data collected from experiments.

Qualifications

You should have a proven understanding of the following:

- Real-time robotic control

- path planning

- Navigation algorithms

Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:

- Enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field

- Hardware-software integration

- Python C/C++programming

- Machine Learning

- Reinforcement Learning

- Data Analytics

- Be excited to explore new methods and applications

- Experience with conducting independent and collaborative research projects.

- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
