Business purpose

Planning the UK and Ireland Wella Professionals Business, responsible for the forecasting, initiative planning, supply planning and inventory of a major part of this dynamic and exciting business.

Being a key player within the MOT team, driving the Business Operations Planning process forward to deliver a 50/50 forecast for prestige & lifestyle brands and lead the forecasting of business building ideas.

In addition to collaborate closely with Wella RBU, the Planning Service Centre (Warsaw) and other MDO's, to execute with excellence and relentlessly improve processes.

Key
Responsibilities

The Demand Planner is responsible for;

·  Owning the Forecast Accuracy, Initiative Delivery, Availability and Inventory levels for Prestige & Lifestyle brands.
·  Leading the Business team through the monthly BOP cycle, constantly building in improvements to the process.
·  Being a Horizontal Process Network member, creating and leveraging the latest CBA's to deliver process and results improvements across the Western Europe IBP network.
·  Being the PS link to the Commercial team for products, this requires excellent links with the supply chain and great collaboration skills within the MOT team.

Thinks and Acts Decisively: The Demand Planner is required to collect, analyse and interpret data sometimes at short notice. Delivering optimal fact based solutions and recommendations to customers as they expect us to be as agile as they are.

Operates with Discipline: Due to the nature of the Salon Professional business the IBP manages a high number of codes, therefore needs to be organised and deadline driven to ensure that the planning processes are executed with excellence.

Leverages Mastery: To have or quickly gain forecasting, initiative planning, supply planning and inventory management mastery. Most of the work is PC based requiring a high degree of computer literacy on standard software (Excel) and P&G planning systems.

NOTE : The role available is working in our Salon Professional (Wella) business. Due to Procter & Gamble's (P&G) announcement of its intention to divest the Salon Professional (Wella), Retail Hair Colour, Cosmetics, and Prestige (Fine Fragrances) businesses to Coty, it is expected that the successful candidate will be employed by the Coty business upon the anticipated closing of the merger of these brands into Coty (expected in the second half of 2016).
