Job description

North America Sales Capability is an organization focused on growing the skills of the NA Sales organization – we develop impact players so they can deliver breakthrough results for the NA Region.  We serve Customer Teams and Categories in North America and are responsible for creating and executing strategic upskilling plans that enable individuals, categories, and customer teams to accelerate their impact.  The Sales Capability Expert is an integral part of the North America Capability Team which includes the Team Leader, 3 Managers, and 2 additional Specialists/ Experts. The team reports into our Vice President of Human Resources and is accountable to the Head of NA Sales.  We are looking for a talented and passionate individual to provide exceptional support to our team and the NA Sales organization!

The Sales Capability Specialist/ Expert responsibilities include:

· 
OPERATIONS OWNER : responsible for end-to-end project management and execution of NA Capability Big Bets (i.e., New Hire Development, Negotiations, Superior Retail Execution, Great Manager Program) and college curriculum (i.e., Sales College 3, Catman College) for classroom and virtual learning sessions. This includes working side-by-side with the Manager owner on the team to deliver each learning priority with excellence. The Operations Owner manages the critical path schedule, the budget, communication with learners and trainers, and collaborating with external vendors.

NA SALES US LEARNING PARTNER : Work directly with Subject Matter Experts to design Sales-specific learning pages on the PGLearn platform for the NA Sales U learning site. This includes maintaining the pages with current information throughout the year, analyzing usage data, optimizing search terms, and recommending actions to consider as a result of your insights.

SPECIAL PROJECTS SUPPORT : Given that we support the Head of US Sales, we are often asked to lead big initiatives and need our Capability Specialist to work alongside our managers as the “right hand person” for all project deliverables to achieve our desired outcome. This involves similar tasks noted above as Operations Owner. An example of this type of work is to be a critical partner in the delivery of the New Hire Summit. 

Job Qualifications

· 
A minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education.

·

Our Sales Specialists demonstrate flexibility and agility to flow to the work, manage multiple requests and changing priorities.

Strong organizational skills/attention to detail . Ability to create systems and work processes, ability to create and manage a Critical Path Schedule and project plan, ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at the same time. Must be focused, organized, and self-motivated.

· 
Excellent collaboration skills – must work well with others, listens to others diverse point of view to get to a better result. Sales Experts work very closely with team members, business partners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and external vendors.

· 
Able to work independently and create solutions to solve problems and advance work forward.

· 
Strong communication and collaboration skills both verbally and written.

· 
Advanced Excel and Budget Management Experience -- Knowledge of budget planning, tracking and execution. Ability to track department budget actuals, identify outages to manager and have skills to navigate in SAP. Ability to go beyond data pulls, draw insights from the data, and recommend action steps.

· 
Mastery in leveraging key tools such as MS Office applications . Must be able to create professional and polished PowerPoint presentations. Knowledge of Adobe and interactive PDFs is a bonus!

· 
Must live within commuting distance as no relocation benefit is provided.
