Procter & Gamble has an organization based in Nashville, Tennessee fully dedicated to managing our business with the Dollar General Corporation. P&G is one of Dollar General's largest vendors and a key strategic partner for our business. We are looking for individuals ready to tackle a dynamic and high-velocity team on a tried and true business. This role is entrusted with sensitive information and must establish a high level of trust with internal and external partners. This role is based at the Procter & Gamble Customer Business Center in Nashville, TN.
As a Sales Category Administrator you will support the execution of business plans by inputting, maintaining, and reporting trade fund data with a high level of accuracy. The successful candidate should be well-versed in technical office tools and software applications enabling the business by proactively managing projects and enabling other team members to do their jobs. Your work will facilitate efficient implementation of programs to set up P&G brands to disproportionately win.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to:
· Enter data into our trade fund system.
· Populate key forms for the retailer.
· Manage shelving displays with P&G and the retailer.
· Scale execution across brands and categories.
· Map invoices and deductions to appropriate tactics.
· Facilitate payment process and report queries in business systems.
· Responsible for compiling, manipulating, and drawing insights from data. Tasks may include gathering, recording, and detecting patterns in data to develop insight-based solutions.
· Communicating accurate/timely information with accuracy.
· Requires a high level of independence and mastery in multiple aspects of the job. In turn, providing broad support for multiple complex systems in specific areas that require a high level of operational discipline, accountability, and prioritization.
Job Qualifications
· Candidates must have a High School diploma/GED, or equivalent education.
· Prior experience in data administration in a professional setting preferred or have
demonstrably strong technical skills and high aptitude for learning new software/systems.
· Analytics: Competency in developing business/category mastery, and ability to leverage
analytics and data into insights.
· Strong technical skills and a proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word with the ability to generate presentation-quality documents in PowerPoint.
· Demonstrates personal leadership, problem solving skills, accountability, and ownership of
defined work processes and projects while working independently to deliver expected
results.
· Must have high level of detail in all completed work, acting with a sense of urgency to deliver on-time and with accuracy, and ability to work in multiple systems with many projects at once.
· Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
· Strong organization skills, accountability for results, ability to learn new systems, prioritization of work, and follow-through is necessary.
Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
