Research & Development - Technologist - IT System Optimization & Deployment - Singapore

Job description

We are looking for an entry-level technologist with expertise and hand-on experience in electronic electrical engineering and R&D IT hard/software system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide operation support and troubleshoots for commercial software apps, e.g., Biovia

inventory management system, global integrated back-office services control coordination

· Lab automation capability development, by applying and customizing robotics into auto-pilot lab

methods for making, measuring and warehousing

· Lead IOT design and piloting solutions to achieve 10X Smart work spaces

· Wearable PC optimization, piloting and deployment for R&D's various researching activities

· Design optimization and transformation of innovation center building management system

Desired profile

· Bachelors' or Masters' degree in electronic electrical engineering or a related field

· 0 - 3 years' related experience

· Basic experience in research & development functions, hard/software systems is helpful

· Strong working knowledge & skills across full spectrum of IT hard/software applications

· Experience with major IT branded products (tools, systems, software, instruments, etc)

· Adequate oral and written communication skills in English for common business are a must

· Able to travel for sporadic business trips mainly within Asia, to Europe and to US

· Able to work independently, multi task and perform in a high pressure environment

· Excellent problem solving skill; ability to use data to connect multiple ideas and develop

solutions

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with people from different cultures

and levels, both internally and externally

· Able to start work by July 2017
