Job Duties:

The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) is seeking a Senior Biomechanical Application Analyst for our Boston, Massachusetts location.

Responsibilities: Research and development in Modeling & Simulation for Product Design and Development Group, specializing in anatomical modeling and biomechanical applications. Develop new virtual methods to evaluate product performance in usage. Quantify hand grip ergonomics and evaluate muscle forces and joint torques for optimal product performance. Build high fidelity musculoskeletal models of human hand, arm, shoulder, leg, and other sections of the body. Perform various finite element based structural analyses including human-tissue to product interaction.

Desired profile

Requirements: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (or completed all requirements toward a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering) plus one year of pre- or post-doctoral research experience. Experience must include: anatomical modeling and biomechanical applications of product-human interaction, including hand fatigue from tool usage; Advanced Finite Element Modeling; Musculoskeletal Modeling; Human Ergonomics; Structural Analysis; Biomechanics; Human Centric Product Modeling; Mechanics & Dynamics; Hand-Arm Vibration and using software including Abaqus, Python Scripting, Abaqus Scripting, Ansys, LifeModeler, Matlab, Simulink, and NI-Labview . Up to 10% travel required per business need.
