You will provide leadership in research, technology development and project execution resulting in new and/or improved products, processes and methodologies, assist in defining the company's innovation strategies across product, process, packaging or other key technical elements. You may also direct and train junior researchers. You will interact with both regional and global colleagues from many functions and countries.

Job Responsibilities:
Partner effectively with Analytical and cross-business colleagues to deliver impactful 3D visualization and analyses to solve problems critical business continuity and new innovation.
Develop and grow innovative 3D measurement platforms at interface of multiple capabilities to create new and valuable opportunities across P&G R&D.
Sustain connectivity to cutting edge 3D measurement capability and expertise, both internally and externally.
Publish and internally share findings of the research and new innovation.

Detailed Job description:
(1) Characterize P&G product, package, and raw materials by microscopy and imaging instruments of micro CT, 3D scanner, etc. and conduct corresponding image analysis.
(2) Analyze the characterization data and evaluate the physical properties of raw materials, bottle package, and finished products, and generate technical report to R&D partners on x-BU projects.
(3) Generate 3D demo, modeling and simulation to help R&D partners on product, package, and device design work.

Requirements:
(1) Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, or other relevant discipline.
(2) Have solid knowledge of one of imaging measurement technique and instrument and like to work in the lab.
(3) Have strong self-learning ability on 3D imaging software and hardware, and having experience on one of CAD type, reverse engineering, or 3D visualization software or programming skill is preferred.
(4) Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to successfully deliver business results.

Desired profile

Candidates should have a master's or Ph.D degree in a technical field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics or a related field. You should also possess a keen sense of curiosity, the passion to learn and innovate, and the leadership and communication skills to ensure your ideas are turned into real products.
