Overview of the job

As a Process Engineer, you will improve key work processes which help deliver breakthrough productivity improvement, cost and cash savings, and excellent operation. In addition, you will also lead the distribution start up and stewardship.

Your team

The Process Engineer reports to the Physical Distribution Manager and will work with different team members internally across functions (Distribution Center manager, Transportation Manager, Customization Manager, Purchasing, etc.) and externally (third-party service provider) to deliver work.

•Reduce cost net saving percentage depending on yearly goal

•Lead self-assessment, global internal audit, and Work Process Improvement (WPI)

•Successful and on time implementation of projects

Responsibilities of the role

•Optimize Distribution Center (DC) operation to reduce cost through leading physical distribution, end-to-end loss analysis, drumbeat review, and follow up to ensure saving project execution on time.

•Control transport and warehousing cost and drive benchmarking, learning, and reapplication

•Lead quarterly internal control audit, action development, and on time completion as an internal control owner. Moreover, Ensure 3PL (third party) deliver 100% compliance on internal control including security information requirement, follow up with Distribution Center owner to ensure Business Continuity Plan, Asset Protection Rate (APR) compliance

•As a Work Process Improvement (WPI) owner, acquire qualification and build WPI capability for the P&G and 3PL teams and deliver the productivity glide path for the distribution center

•As a Distribution Center (DC) project lead, manage the IT teams of P&G and 3PL for system set up, as well as the project team to ensure smooth and on time transition to start up

•As a GSUM owner, build capability for the project team through providing training and ensuring project team strictly follow GSUM CBAs and process

•Build capability of 3PL through training, coaching on GSUM, DC health check, internal control, safety culture

Qualifications

•University degree in Business Administration, Economics, preferable in Supply Chain
•DC/ Warehouse Experience is preferred
•Strong leadership / ownership and high responsibility
•Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving skills
•Strong collaboration/communication skills where you are able to work effectively with third party/ suppliers, and people on cross functions and cross countries
•Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
•Proficient in English language
•Computer proficiency, especially on Microsoft office
•Mastery skills: SAP, DC operation
