Occupational Health Advisor
Location: West Thurrock

This is an exciting opportunity for an hard working and motivated Occupational Health Nurse who is keen to develop their occupational health career in-house, within a manufacturing environment. We are a promote from within company and expect those recruited to want to be developed to move up our pay reward system.
The role is a full-time permanent position with Procter and Gamble at their London, West Thurrock site looking to start as soon as possible.
You will lead the delivery of an excellent occupational health service, with a full Occupational Health remit and be able to work independently within the Occupational Health department onsite dealing with some employees working on a shift pattern in various departments.

With us you will:
· Conserve and optimise the health and wellbeing of all the employees on our West Thurrock site
· You will work with prevention, recognition and treatment of illness and injury, managing and organising daily work at our onsite clinic, health risk management and workplace risk assessment (office ergonomics)
· Oversee all sickness absence case management
· Manage the Heath Surveillance program and Safety Critical Medicals
· Documenting and maintaining clinical records consistent with Global Medical requirements and in scope of practice and local law ensuring all complies with medical confidentiality
· Using health data and conducting a Site Health Needs Analysis to identify the needs of the site and drives preventive changes where needed
Aligning with site leadership on priorities and site needs
Qualifications
Apply if you have:
· Diploma Level one Registered General Nurse with current NMC PIN number
· Up to date knowledge in Occupational Health preferable two years post registration experience in Occupational Health and a wide range of clinical experience
· Recognised qualification in Occupational health or working towards would be advantageous
· First Aid CPR and Anaphylaxis qualifications and certificates
· Experience in Workplace Ergonomic Assessments
· Experience administrating vaccinations
· Able to work independently and manage an Occupational Health Service Case Management with clear evidence-based management reports
· Experience with Health Surveillance, on commencement medical, Lung Function, Audio, Forklift Truck, Emergency Response, Skin Surveillance and Shift Workers
· We are ideally looking for nursing experience in a hospital or medical clinic and have the confidence and skill to deal with a medical emergency
