The Occupational Health Nurse is primarily responsible for providing comprehensive health and wellness services to the employees of the Plant in alignment with established Global Medical Priorities, Health System Key Elements, and Corporate Function HR objectives, goals, strategies, and measures. This role focuses on promoting, maintaining, and restoring the physical and psycho-social well being of the employee to enhance their optimal performance. This position reports to the HR Leader and is responsible for the operation of the Vibrant Living Health Services center. The Cape Girardeau Plant is a 24 hour 7 day operation of approximately 1100 employees.

Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Delivery of comprehensive nursing care including prompt medical emergency response; prevention, treatment, and follow-up for occupational injuries/illnesses, referrals, and medications.
2. Provide Health Coaching that optimizes the employee's health and well-being by conducting screening tests, counseling, and follow-up.
3. Is responsible for the Vibrant Living programs and events.
4. Integrate with the business by participating in site needs analysis and site risk analysis; attending designated meetings, and aligning with leadership to develop and implement key safety and health programs related to the analysis.
5. Develop, interpret and administer medical testing programs such as Hearing Tests, and Respirator Physicals which include Pulmonary Function Tests.
6. Conduct new hire post-offer health questionnaire review, physicals, and medical clearance.
7. Conduct return to work assessments and fitness for duty evaluations.
8. Plan, organize, and support the delivery of the following systems/programs: NA Medical HSKE Assessment (audit), New Chemical Clearance, Change Management, Vibrant Living initiatives/events, Worker's Compensation Medical Case Management, Medical Emergency Response, EAP Referrals, FMLA, ADA, TSCA, Privacy, Ergonomics, Bloodborne
Pathogens and others as they develop.
9. Collaborate as a business partner with Human Resources, P&G Legal, External Relations, HS&E (Health, Safety & Environmental), Risk Management, IH&S, Regional Medical Leadership, EAP, and various Business/Practice Leaders.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

- Active State of Missouri RN license in good standing. BSN required.
- COHN or COHN-S preferred or eligible for certification within 2-3 years of hire.
- Certification in NIOSH approved Spirometry and CAOHC approved Audiometry preferred. Occupational Health, Employee Health, or Emergency Department experience desirable.
- Certification in Adult CPR/AED.
- Ability to attend meetings, trainings, and conferences that may require travel. Must be able to flow to the work and be flexible to meet the needs of the business with occasional work off shifts.
