Working behind the scenes in our manufacturing plants, Maintenance Technicians are vital to the success of our business at P&G. As a technician, you will work on a team that is responsible for the execution and health of the preventative maintenance program.

We do various types of work, including equipment/system ownership, managing equipment downtime, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment. From the beginning, you will be getting involved, impacting situations and influencing business-related problems.

We have no doubt these skills will help you on the job? Able to display skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining and cleaning automated equipment

·  Maintaining accurate records and data
·  Display strong technical, interpersonal and analytical skills
·  Operating essential material handling equipment at the site e.g., forklift, hand trucks, etc.

We believe in order to be able to perform on the job, you will need to meet the following physical requirements:

·  Use basic hand and power tools
·  Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders and platforms; twist, turn and bend
·  Stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time.

Your job requirements may include;

·  Provide daily execution of preventative maintenance activities
·  Provide continuous focus improvement on maintenance activities to deliver cost savings targets and loss elimination to eliminate systemic equipment losses for the organization.
·  Provide direct mentoring and training on equipment setup and troubleshooting to Technician Team members to enable their qualification.
·  Provide daily interface and critical issue with 3PL to help manage facility maintenance scope items and to ensure facility maintenance requirements
·  Actively drives improvements with their assigned Equipment/System ownership area.
·  Active ownership of the line Plan Do Check Act cycle with follow-up on areas not at target.
·  Participation in the daily overlap meeting.
·  Willing and able to flow to the work as needed to meet the business need.
·  Actively identifies and eliminates defects.
·  Positive influence the culture of the organization
·  Respond to equipment outages and escalations with a sense of urgency to minimize the disruption to the production line.
·  Ensures the production line setup escalation needs for equipment are happening per the line layout.
·  On time delivery of CIL DMS (defect handling) actions.

The Dayton Procter & Gamble Warehouse operates 5-days per week. We rely on local talent and relocation is generally not paid. Technicians work any day of the week, including weekends. Work on weekends may be as overtime or as part of the Technician's normal schedule. Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the rotation schedule. The hours of work are Monday-Friday with a weekly rotating shift schedule (1st shift- 6:30am-3:00pm and 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:30pm) with occasional overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

WE BELIEVE YOU WILL BE AN EXCELLENT FIT HERE IF, YOU ARE:

·  18 years of age or older
·  Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
·  Wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes)
·  Willing to work rotating shifts
