Legal Counsel – Employment Law
Location: Weybridge

We are looking for a Legal Counsel with experience in Employment Law to join our Legal Team in the UK. This role will take on primary responsibility for handling contentious and non-contentious employment law matters in the UK and Scandinavia. This role will also offer opportunity to develop a broader commercial law skill set to include GDPR and Privacy, contract and general commercial advice.

This role would offer an Employment Law Solicitor or Barrister an opportunity to move in-house to a multinational corporation that can offer excellent work/life balance, daily connection with a large international network of lawyers and fantastic career opportunity.

With us you will:

·  Advise and manage employment litigation/disputes in the UK and Scandinavia
·  Advising on Employee Relations including disciplinary and grievances, performance management, redundancies and pension law
·  Instructing and liaising with external legal counsel and facilitating and implementing their advice
·  Providing relevant stakeholders with accurate and timely information regarding the status of HR disputes and ER issues
·  Advise and best practice guidance on regulatory issues that will require practical business judgment, sophisticated communication skills and effective business solutions
·  Have an individual training plan, develop personal capability and grow your career within a Global environment
Qualifications

Apply if you have:
·  A qualified solicitor or barrister with some years PQE in a specialist employment law role
·  Understanding of key features of relevant laws and regulations relevant to Employment Law and Pension Law in the UK
·  Can display a strong leadership profile and a passion to make a difference
·  Excellent problem solving and team collaboration skills
·  Strong ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities
