And what do you doduring your dual studies?

Procter & Gambleoffers the Business Information Systems course of study with its focus on DataScience, Application Management and Sales & Consulting. The course ofstudies extends over a period of 3 years and ends with the Bachelor of Science.

The theoretical parttakes place at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) in Mannheim. Thetheoretical and the practical part change every three months, so that you spendhalf of the semester at the university and the other half of the practical partat the Schwalbach location.

Data Science:

The study programBusiness Information Systems - Data Science is characterized by the combinationof business sciences and computer science. The main areas of study includeconcepts and methods of business administration as well as basics of IT,current methods of computer science, modern IT technologies and especially thehandling of "Big Data". The objective is to generate information fromlarge amounts of data (Big Data) and to derive recommendations for action.

Application Management:

Characteristic for thestudy program Business Information Systems - Application Management is thecombination of economics and computer science with a focus on the developmentas well as the introduction and operation of IT systems. Concepts and methodsof business administration as well as basics of IT, current methods of computerscience, and modern IT technologies belong to the main object of the course.

During your practicalphases you will work on the optimization of business processes or take over thesupport of standard software.

Sales &Consulting:

In your study programBusiness Information Systems - Sales & Consulting you analyze IT projectsfrom an economic point of view, adapt solutions flexibly to customerrequirements and implement them. The main areas of study include concepts andmethods of economics, project management, as well as management of sales andconsulting projects. Characteristic for Sales & Consulting is thecombination of business informatics, economics and computer science,supplemented by aspects of sales and consulting.

It is also possible tospend a semester at a university abroad or to spend an assignment abroad at aEuropean P&G subsidiary.
