You as Business Leader

As a Data Scientist, you will transform the business to enable better decision-making through the usage of advanced analytics. To be successful as data scientist you need to be an effective communicator, self-motivated, and able to drive insights into actions that improve P&G's business results. Your business knowledge, interpersonal/communication skills are thereforre a must to thrive in a multi-functional leaderhsip team. Passionate about analytics: your analitic skills are the foundation of this role. Your ability to connect and explore large datasets, build and test predictive models, and translate insights into business improving action is critical in your work.

You as Technical Leader

As a P&G Data Scientist, you will "get your hands dirty", leveraging machine learning algorithms, data visualization best practices, and analytic tools (R, Python, Scala, Spark, Haddop, KNIME, etc.) to unlock businss building insights in our mountains of data. You should be adept at leveraging such technologies for solving ad hoc business problems, innovating on potential future solutions, and working with technology parnters to translate your innovations into robus, scaled, analytic solutions.

As a P&G Data Scientist Intern, you will:

Be creative and relentless problem-solver using Big Data and Advanced analytics skills alongside leadership, business engagment and collaboration.

·
Design and implement analytical frameworks in the context of overall project objectives such as media effectiveness, consumer engagement, product recommendations, assortment optimization, etc.

·
Deliver high performance data science, including data sources identification, processing, model/algorithm development, turining insights into actionable recommendation.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To qualify for the internship , you must possess the following:
·  Pursuing Bachelor or Master Degree level qualifications. (Computer Science, Economics/Mathematics, Statistics, Big Data)
·  Excellent command of the English language
·  Leadership and previous activity in extracurricular activities
·  Business background/interest and technical/analytical skills

…and would be good having as well below skills:

·  Business Intelligence Tools such as KNIME, Tableau, Spotfire
·  Big Data Ecosystem: Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, SQL, Hive
·  Scientific Computing: R, Python, C++, Java, Scala
·  Analytical models (machine learning, Bayesian, Uncertainty Quantification etc)
