Under the mentorship of the Design Director, you will be responsible for designing, presenting, and, ultimately, deliver fit-for-use Graphic Design files and guidelines to enable execution excellence from our Design Delivery partners. Your secondary focus would be to impact the design of additional touchpoints, both physical and digital (POSM, E-COM).
YOUR ROLE
·
Leverage inputs from different functions (marketing, R&D) to create compelling Graphic Design solutions applicable to both existing and new structural packaging, balancing brand equity, technical feasibility, and marketing scope to win in store, and delight consumers at home;
·
Research and develop a point-of-view on relevant market/design trends, consumer segments, and competitive landscape to inspire and guide the work.
·
Structure potential solutions, demonstrating multiple options in context of current packaging and competition, framing them to best enable convergence and decisions;
·
Build prototypes/mockups and files to enable prototyping, to communicate design intent to key stakeholders;
·
Upon decisions made, create, and deliver fit-for-use Graphic Design files (2D, Adobe CS: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and guidelines, so to enable pre-production studios to color separate the files for print production, and adapt hero SKUs across all range in scope;

Review print proofs with Design Delivery teams and marketing;
·
Build strong partnership across the design team/design agencies and business;
·
Identify opportunities and preserve design intent throughout the creative process;
·
Drive design projects in collaboration with internal and, when required, external resources;
Job Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s in Visual Communications / Graphic Design (3 years study minimum)
·
Several years of experience as freelancer, in a corporation or Design Agency
·
Proficient in English, both written and verbal
·
A portfolio that demonstrates design mastery in both upstream (concepts) and downstream (execution) space, as applied to packaging and beyond
·
Advanced mastery on the Adobe Creative Suite and specifically AI, PS, and ID
·
Good knowledge of shopper psychology/cognitive science to blend aesthetics with ‘in context’ reality
Organizational mastery & skills:

Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional partners
·
Strong time management skills, ability to set priorities and be accountable from concept to final design delivery
·
Ability to present the work in a clear way, defend ideas and adapt to feedback
·
Self-motivated and eager to take initiative, able to work independently while also engaging and communicating in a dynamic team and organization
·
Flexibility to adapt in an environment of constant change
·
Ability to think in 3D, i.e., quickly elevate ideas into mock-ups
·
Ability to organize a multitude of assets into well-structured folders
·
Outstanding ability to tackle problems by leveraging the power of Graphic Design through brainstorming, research, sketching
·
Passion for packaging and a good understanding of printing technologies, substrates, and structural packaging fundamentals
