Finance Analyst - Administrative support role
Location: Geneva

The Finance Analyst role has key responsibilities to coordinate and support the preparation and reconciliation of financial data to support management reporting and decisions for a particular business unit. This may relate to product costs, people costs, marketing spending or full Profit & Loss reports.
The role primarily works together with the finance team including the Finance Leader of the Organisation Unit but also has cross functional interactions. It is an assignment that requires strong information system, collaboration & communication skills with the ability to manage varied priorities. In addition, the person is also helping with ad-hoc reports and standardization of the processes.

With us you will:
· Use your technical skills in term of using the financial planning system and in-house reporting tools as well as using your advanced Excel skills
· Your will use your analytical skills to perform analysis and manipulation of large quantities of data, recognizing anomalies in data extraction, and headline deviations vs expectations
· Use your judgement to quickly and independently route cause an issue, drive resolution via the relevant corporate resources
· Collaborate effectively within and across Geographies and organisational boundaries, building effective networks that resolve technical or system issues quickly, whilst understanding customer needs
· Balance multiple priorities within tight deadlines as part of the regular monthly processes and proactively escalating issues
Qualifications
Apply if you have:
· Excellent data analytical skills and the ability to draw key trends and conclusions from complex data and propose solutions
· Advanced level of Excel and knowledge of Power BI would be useful
· Creative attitude with strong motivation to drive change and constantly challenge status quo
· Are passionate about numbers, able to show initiative and able to spot errors but also be comfortable working in a process driven role with repetitive monthly tasks
· Proficiency in English, written and verbal
