Data Engineer

Job description

We're seeking a self-motivated Data Engineer to join our Enterprise Data Pipelines Engineering Team based in Warsaw. You will play a crucial role in driving impactful analytics globally by building and enhancing enterprise data pipelines with Azure components & tools. Work on exciting, global projects and collaborate with multi-functional teams within and outside of P&G.

Responsibilities

· 
Implementing data modeling and driving the optimization of data and analytics solutions at scale

· 
Designing and developing applications that source data from various systems, using programming in Python and SQL

· 
Working multi-functionally with business users, data management teams, cloud integration architects, information security teams, and platform teams

· 
Delivering the right solution architecture, automation and technology choices starting from experimentation and proof of concept phases of new analytical models that generate insights and answers to business questions

· 
Suggest and implement architecture improvements

Job Qualifications

· 
Experience with BI, Analytics, Data Modeling, and Data Provisioning (acquisition from various sources, transformation and sharing) and/or coding

· 
Proven knowledge of SQL, Python, PySpark

· 
Experience with Cloud ( Azure preferred), ETL concept understanding

· 
Proven knowledge of Databricks

· 
Experience working in Agile environment

· 
Strong written and verbal English communication skills

· 
Ability to handle multiple priorities

· 
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and coordinate work

Nice to have

· 
Understanding of DevOps & CI/CD concepts
