NOTE: Due to P&G's announcement of its intention to divest the Duracell business to Berkshire Hathaway, this role is specific to the Duracell business. Successful candidates will be part of the Duracell team. Upon the anticipated closing, it is expected that successful candidates will be employed by the Duracell business, together with other employees supporting Duracell.
The Consumer Marketing Manager is the single point of accountability for any marketing related work in his/her country/cluster; s/he owns the Duracell brand portfolio. S/he recommends and executes consumer-based brand building plans based on consumer insights for both the base business and initiatives. S/he recommends and executes investment decisions to maximize portfolio growth plans. S/he ensures plans are designed to win vs. key competitors in his/her country/cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Owns local competitive landscape understanding and key business dynamics. Assesses the local landscape and develops local shopper insights. Understands the prime prospect and the Duracell brand equity, knowing how the target behaves in and out of the store.
2. Leads country/cluster business reviews and equity reviews.
3. Develops national business plans that are differentiated by customer and that deliver the volume, NOS, VC and share objectives. Makes pricing recommendations and execute any price changes
4. Recommends and executes country/cluster marketing plan, incl. communications plan
5. Owns local tailoring of regional initiatives, execution & tracking. Develops local commercial innovation addressing prime prospect needs when needed.

2. Own efficient and effective budget management and stewardship.
3. External Exposure and accountability:
· Accountable to coordinate a roster of Marketing Agencies (Media Buying/Planning, In Store POSM Production/Execution, ER)
· Accountable to coordinate local Partnership Amplification with Global Partners (Microsoft Xbox, Hasbro…)
· Accountable to support Sales Team in Innovation Envisioning Selling/Calls with Customers

Desired profile

Turkey: 3-5 years of experience
ICCAR:2-3 years of experience

· Masters the Duracell Brand Equity

· Identifies emerging trends affecting Duracell, consumers and customers. Responsible to find the new marketing opportunities

· Creates business recommendations based on shopper insights

· Consistently delivers execution with efficient use of resources and in a timely manner
· Drives stewardship Holds self and others fully accountable for results
