Job description
As a DevOps Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in the software development life cycle, transforming system requirements and user stories into a robust and supportable code design. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing, testing, and deploying code, ensuring seamless functionality throughout the process. Embracing a modern DevOps approach, you will be a key advocate for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tooling. Deploying to production environments, you'll diligently monitor and maintain software to guarantee optimal performance. Proactive in nature, you'll contribute new features and fixes as necessary, collaborating closely with product and operations teams, as well as other integrated systems.
In addition to your coding prowess, your role will extend to architectural design, particularly in the context of cloud-native architecture. Your commitment to improvement will be reflected in your continuous efforts to enhance the overall experience and performance of the codebase.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and executing CI/CD stack
·
Enabling the use of a Modern Application Development framework (including design thinking, agile project management, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deliver (CI/CD) methods and tools) with our Software Engineers
·
Continuously looking for opportunities to create more efficient DevOps processes using automation, new tools, and exploring new CI/CD platforms
·
Providing engineering support for assigned tools and coordinating with other support teams, whether it is external or owned by internal product owners
Job Qualifications
·
Understanding of Cloud infrastructure ( Azure preferred)
·
Practical knowledge of DevOps toolset:
·
Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform / Bicep / ARM etc.)
·
Code repositories (GitHub Repos / Azure DevOps Repos etc.)
·
CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps Pipelines etc.)
·
Deployment / test automation (e.g. Azure Test Plans etc.)
·
Static code analysis (GitHub Security / SonarQube etc.)
·
Strong communication skills
·
English proficiency
·
Bachelor's degree or higher
·
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) will be an additional asset
·
Ability to lead initiatives will be an additional asset
