Job description

Leads and improves analytical programs and presents the results of the business unit/category/region leaders. Analyzes the variable granular data of the business and regularly uses advanced models to deliver business insights across diverse business domains. With a combination of analytical expertise, data and system knowledge, and business insight, answers and anticipates critical business questions and opportunities and delivers insights to the business in ways that make significant impacts. Demonstrates use of data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, Excel), and analytic tools (Python, R, SQL, KNIME/Alteryx) to grasp the business insights from mountains of data. Collaborates with multifunctional teams (Marketing, Finance, IT, Sales) to improve key business priorities based on data-driven insights.

Required

·  A Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in a quantitative field (Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Management/Business Information Systems, or related degree)
·  Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
·  Data management and visualization skills / tools in one or all of the following (SQL, KNIME, Tableau, Power BI or similar).
·  Strong business acumen & communication skills, including the ability to deliver a clear story to influence agreement to your recommendations with data and insights.
·  Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis with analytics techniques to solve defined business problems.
·  Self-motivated to work with diverse business scenarios, prioritizing multiple priorities and have a business and consultancy mind-set, while technically (data) savvy, and passionate about discovering new/better ways of doing things!

 

Preferred

·  Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
·  4 plus years in analytics within consumer good, retail, e-commerce or related industry
·  Programming language knowledge (Python, R, C+, Java)
·  Demonstrated experience consulting with non-technical business partners to identify high-value analytical opportunities
