NOTE: Due to P&G's announcement of its intention to divest the Duracell business to Berkshire Hathaway, this role is specific to the Duracell business. Successful candidates will be part of the Duracell team. Upon the anticipated closing, it is expected that successful candidates will transfer with the Duracell business, together with other employees supporting Duracell.

We are searching for a highly talented, ambitious, committed Sales leader with strong analytical skills with a proven track record of strategically partnering with customers to develop our mutual business to deliver profitable revenue and share growth. We are seeking highly motivated individuals, with Sales and Category Management experience, who will enable us to deliver a competitive advantage to our customers by driving category growth, and contributing to their category strategies, while enabling our brand to disproportionately win.

The position reports into the Senior Sales Executive who reports to the Customer/Channel VP.

JOB SCOPE

· Deliver annual Financial Targets – Sales, Market Share, and overhead costs.
· Through demonstrated business and thought leadership, be(come) preferred category management partner of retailer(s) enabling the customer to exceed their Financial Objectives – Sales, Profit, Inventory, GMROI, Share of Market, etc.
· Customer Development - Provide Leadership in developing the overall Business Relationship with buyers/DMMs in key targeted accounts.
· Participate in Top to Top joint business planning with customer.
· Develop and execute a sustainable category and share growth plan.
· Develop, sell, execute, and evaluate business plans to exceed financial objectives.
· Demonstrated analytic capability – turn raw data into actionable customer insights.
· Sell-in/execute strategies to improve distribution, shelving, merchandising while ensuring our brands our within their proper pricing corridors.
· Proven track record of collaborating and working with a cross-functional team (Account Executives, Shopper Insights- and Marketing, Finance, Category Management, Market, Strategy and Planning)
· Be(come) preferred category management partner of retailer.
· Steward Trade funds by delivering strong ROI for customer investment, financial forecasting, and managing deductions.
· Effectively use off shelf promotional displays / programs to drive impulse purchase and take advantage of seasonality.
· Execute perfectly in-store with direct responsibility for retail and merchandising.

MEASURES:

Growth of Revenue, and Market Share at account(s).

This role will be located in Northwest Arkansas.

This role is relocation eligible.

Desired profile

A minimum of a bachelor"s degree is required for the position.

Experienced and ambitious sales leader with a solid track record of delivering profitable share growth and customer business development

3-5 years of account management (direct selling) experience within CPG (highly reputable company with track record of developing top notch sales leaders is preferred).

Prior Wal-Mart and/or Sam"s Club customer experience a plus.

Persuasive communicater (oral and written) with Customer and Company top management.

Empowering individual contributor/ leader, collaborator and teammate.

Very strong strategic and analytical thinker with proven capabilities of in-depth data analysis (Nielsen/IRI/Retail link)

Savy technology skills.

Strong strategic and analytical thinker with proven capabilities of in-depth data analysis (Nielsen/IRI/Retail link)
Solid forecasting and financial accountability skills (ROI, P&L, Budget Management)
Strong planning and business management skills with the ability to develop joint business plans and penetrate the customer up to the highest ranks
Successful candidates must have a valid driver"s license and be willing to travel on the job.
