Sales is an organization within P&G that is responsible for managing the P&G business and our relationships with Canada’s largest retailers. When you join the Sales function at P&G, you hit the ground running. Utilizing proprietary research, industry & brand understanding, and real data, you will create and present your own business plans to your customer, then execute your plan through managing a multi-million dollar budget.
In addition to selling, you become a strategy consultant, working with the largest retailers on the biggest brands in Canada. Category Development Account Executives are responsible for delivering shelving & distribution fundamentals on specific categories at assigned customers. This will be accomplished by delivering excellence in analytics, consumer, category and customer understanding, and presenting category growth solutions to our retailers via improvements in distribution & shopper based shelving and consulting on category strategy. The next assignment would be an Account Executive role or Category Account Executive. The Account Executive is responsible for delivering sales and share objectives on specific categories at an assigned customer by delivering excellence in the Sales Fundamentals: Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Pricing at the Customer. The Category Account Executive role, which is the expert regarding a particular category of brands, who continually interfaces between all functional units of the business and all sales personnel to create and execute winning propositions at retail. These roles are viewed as the cornerstone of P&G’s go-to-market strategy, a quintessential experience for a manager focused on moving into Senior Executive Leadership, and represent key building blocks for career development. They provide the successful applicant with analytical, leadership and strategic selling skills applicable in a wide range of future positions.

Qualifications
Skills and Experiences
• Bachelors or Master’s degree, with 2 to 5 years experience in key account management, preferably in the consumer goods sector
·Knowledge and proficiency of how to extract, analyze and make clear business recommendations using Nielsen data
·Natural leadership, tenacity and an entrepreneurial spirit
·Superior communication skills that will enable you to lead the thinking of decision makers internal and external to P&G
The location for this role is in our Toronto office.There are multiple roles starting as early as June through September 2018.
