Back End Developer (Supply Chain)

Job description
We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team within the Supply Chain organization. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, standardizing and maintaining the server-side logic and infrastructure of our web applications. You will work closely with our frontend and design teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
Within our Supply Chain IT, we help make sure everyday use products (like diapers, laundry detergents, disinfectants, soap or shampoos) reach people reliably where and when they need them. As part of our hard work during COVID we were able to maintain service and meet the needs of people where some competitors could not.
Responsibilities

Design and develop the server-side logic and APIs using frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI
·
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python and Java
·
Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to integrate the server-side functionality with the user interfaces
·
Implement and manage cloud-based solutions using Azure Cloud services
·
Develop and optimize SQL database schemas and queries for data storage and retrieval
·
Containerize applications using Docker for efficient deployment and scalability
·
Write unit tests and perform thorough testing to ensure the reliability and performance of the backend systems
·
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and performance
Job Qualifications
·
Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role
·
Strong proficiency in Python and Java
·
Experience with backend frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI
·
Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure Cloud services
·
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management system
·
Familiarity with Docker for containerization
·
Ability to write automated tests to prevent regression bugs
·
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
·
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
·
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
·
Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum framework
·
Good communication and time management skills
·
Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
·
Understanding of microservices architecture
