Job description

Global Product Stewardship(GPS) is part of the broader R&D team. Located at the P&G Singapore Innovation Center at Biopolis, you will work closely with a diverse and global team of experts in regulatory compliance and safety assurance. You will have the opportunity work in multi-functional teams within P&G fully integrated with broader R&D and business functions and externally support P&G representation to government agencies, industry associations and technical organizations as job requires.

The successful candidate would effectively work with multi-functional teams to ensure robust and clear regulatory and safety inputs to the projects.

Responsibilities

·  As part of the global product stewardship team supporting the regional business unit(APAC Home Care in this case), you will provide regulatory and safety leadership to enable the launch of multiple innovation programs across Asia and other regions working closely with R&D and commercial team.
·  In this role, the candidate will:
·  Lead regulatory and safety strategy for launch of new projects in multiple regions.
·  Demonstrate strong initiative to drive regulatory and safety works, meeting the business need.
·  Develop and execute registration strategies to deliver winning initiatives.
·  Lead regulatory compliance assessment of formulation, label and packaging in collaboration with country regulatory managers.
·  Collaborate with multi-functional team to resolve technical challenges or issues arising.
·  Build technical expertise in specific product category within P&G and regulatory landscape across Asia and other regions
·  Essentially, this is entry level for employees who develop proficiency in GPS Procedural work and expertise in Application work by combining hands-on experimentation with scientific principles and knowledge from science/engineering education to drive foundational technical understanding and solve technical problems.
·  Delivers technical outputs which address critical innovation challenges and completion of key milestones. May own part of a testing program.
·  Able to independently formulate hypothesis, design experiments to test it, interpret complex data, write reports and publications, communicate results in the business context, including at external events.
·  Has mastered the basic regulatory and systems fundamentals in their capability area (registration, INCI, system management, ingredient and product compliance checks) or has technical mastery in a science area based on their educational background.
·  May determine the regulatory strategies to support new initiatives or protect current business/formulations in the market, and defining GTM IMPs.
·  Where appropriate, works with Distributors on regulatory compliance matters.

Job Qualifications

·  Bachelors or Masters degree in Life Sciences/chemistry/materials related areas is preferred.
·  Good oral and written communication skills in English for common business are a must
·  Able to work independently, multi task and perform in a challenging environment
·  Excellent problem-solving skills and uses data to connect multiple ideas and develop solutions.
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with people from different cultures and levels, both internally and externally.
