Assistant General Counsel – Pharma / Personal Health Care
Location: Geneva

The main focus of this role is to support the General Counsel and other Legal team members in bringing to the highest levels of quality the provision of commercially focused legal service to support the needs of Procter & Gamble’s Personal Health Care International Business Unit across Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. This opportunity will require outstanding organization building skills and top notch knowledge of Health Care law, including advice on compliance matters, regulatory issues, product liability, litigation, clinical trials, market research projects, purchases (e.g. contract manufacturing agreements and related disputes), distributor operations and review of promotional materials.

This role will suit a pragmatic senior lawyer looking for an opportunity to play a key role in developing in-house experienced capability on health care legal matters in an International Legal team to bring it to the highest levels of excellence in the industry.

With us you will:
·  Design and coordinate the operationalisation of internal processes to meet the specific legal compliance and other business needs of the Personal Health Care International Business Unit
·  Craft and coordinate a network of expert outside counsel networks who will supplement Procter & Gamble’s in-house capacity and capability across markets
·  Help manage legal risk across the full breadth of the HealthCare business in a manner that supports and facilitates their continued commercial success
·  Advise and provide best practice guidance on regulatory issues that will require practical business judgment, sophisticated communication skills and an effective business solutions mindset
·  Have an individual training plan, develop personal capability and grow your career within a Global environment

Qualifications

Apply if you have/are:
·  An experienced Senior Lawyer with in-house legal experience in leading Pharmaceuticals or Personal Health Care companies across a Global market
·  Have an approachable, down to earth, resilient and persuasive personality with strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills and a constructive, commercial and imaginative approach to problem solving
·  Strong team collaboration skills and a desire to work as part of an international network
·  Law Degree, bar membership is preferable but not a requirement
·  Proficient in English and German, written and verbal
·  Strong ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities
·  Creativity in finding legal solutions and ability to quickly understand a broad range of commercial legal issues
·  Strong lateral and analytical thinking skills
