Position: Artwork Graphic Specialist - (m/f/x)

Location: Geneva

The Graphic Specialist partners with Design and multi-discipline partners on all packaging artwork projects to ensures quality and consistent visual execution of design intent across all product forms and variants at FMOT.

Achieving Irresistibly Superior Printed packaging relies on graphic specialists to maintain the design intent when realized across different product forms, technical drawings. They are responsible for the design intent layout, proportionally scaled design intent elements.

The Graphic Specialist partners with Design upstream and collaborates across multifunctional teams.

This role requires a fundamental understanding of design, brand identity and design standards/guidelines, intermediate understanding and application of Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign and understanding of artwork file construction/ requirements, understanding color and printing technologies.

Strong, proven leadership, communication, collaboration and influencing skills required.

Ability to leverage graphic application packages (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) to create, edit, modify, and perform basic operations on graphic assets*, shapes and images.

Graphic assets such as: icons, color palette, typography (font, size, spacing, color, alignment) images (photography, illustrations, and images)

·  Follow the end to end design process: from design concept through to design production
·  Work with Pre-Press and Printers
·  Support the whole artwork file production: fit for use requirements, print process capabilities, substrates/finishes, colour management and digital proofing
·  Work with internal and external partners
·  Visibly be able to view your work at on the shelf of major retailers
·  Have an individual training plan, develop personal capability and grow your career within a Global environment

Job Qualifications

Apply if you have:

·  Design production & Print experience – Few years in a design firm, printer or production studio or any other graphic design sector
·  In depth understanding of packaging process
·  Experience working with printers
·  Experience with design files production
·  Experience with artwork file production, fit for use requirements, print processes, substrates/finishes, color management & proofing
·  Strong project & time management skills
·  Strong business communication – Verbal and written English.
·  Proficient in Microsoft office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
·  FMCG brand experience is a plus
·  Able to demonstrate leadership, strong collaboration skills
·  Can do attitude and willingness to optimize tools and processes
·  Attention to detail
