Job description
We are seeking an experienced Application Platform Engineer to join us. Your expertise in Manufacturing Services Platforms, such as Proficy, and associated Application Components is vital. Proficiency in SQL Database, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes is essential for supporting platform success.
Responsibilities:
As Proficy Application Platform Engineer, you will:

Collaborate closely with other Platform Engineers to assess technical feasibility for crucial business requirements.
·
Lead Proficy platforms change management, driving ongoing improvement.
·
Cultivate relationships with vendors for innovation aligned with P&G's goals.
·
Test and evaluate Proficy patches, versions, and hotfixes to enhance platform capabilities.
·
Craft innovation designs, ensuring consistency and efficient use of platform components.
·
Support incident escalations and provide Level 4 support.
·
Ensure the platform's readiness for new solutions and data demands.
·
Support integration of other solutions with Proficy Platform.
·
Support application governance.

Job Qualifications
- Expertise in Manufacturing Services Platforms such as Proficy and associated Application Components.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
- Mastery of containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- A history of seamless collaboration, especially with other IT Engineers and Operations.
