Life as a Trading Analyst
The pace is fast within the NBD Trading team - we look to seize on immediate and future trading opportunities that will improve our bottom-line performance. You’ll have a key role to play in supporting the team’s day-to-day operations and expanding the department. You’ll get to see how different teams work together to deliver Primark’s goals. And as we’re expanding across Europe and the US, as well as the UK, there will also be an interesting international flavour to your role.

What we’re looking for
This job is perfect for someone with a merchandising background looking for a fast-moving, customer-focused trading environment.

Some of your key responsibilities would include:
Thinking commercially to spot new and future trading opportunities, and communicate these to the Trading Manager.
Carry out analysis to identify and communicate trading risks.
Investigating and resolving any data inaccuracies.
Producing reports on a regular basis so sales figures can be accurately analysed.
Demonstrating your curiosity to contribute ideas for new business initiatives and efficiencies within the department.
Developing a network of contacts to support the growth of the department.
