We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Ecommerce Trading Analyst to join the Digital team at Primark. As an Ecommerce Trading Analyst at Primark, you will have an important role in supporting the growth and delivery of our Click + Collect trading strategy at a very important time. You will work closely with the Ecommerce Trading Manager, using analysis and commercial judgement, to ensure strong availability across the online collection, whilst also keeping stock-holding under control.

You will also collaborate cross-functionally, supporting the activities of the digital merchandising, marketing and content teams. You will support the Trading team in providing a wide range of business stakeholders with valuable analysis, enabling the best possible decisions to be made. You will have influence over important trading actions, identifying key lessons, and future strategic range development.

As part of the expanding Digital function, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative, and innovative environment. You will be supported to develop your commercial expertise, additional to critical communication and influencing skills, making you an important asset to the Click + Collect trading team and the wider Digital team.

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
·  Displays a good level of commercial awareness within the Ecommerce trading team (and broader digital team); analyses and responds to patterns, trade in the retail business and changes in the market.
·  Assists the Ecommerce Trading Manager in the delivery of important stock and sales KPIs.
·  Shares insights and information with members of the team.
·  Makes positive trading recommendations based on a range of data; across digital sales, retail info, and web analysis metrics.
·  Participates in regular trading reviews to maximise sales and maintain stock levels.
·  Identifies over and under performance in current trading patterns and takes
·  Assists the Ecommerce Trading Manager in being important points of contact for the BMD teams, able to provide support, insights and guidance when required.
·  Ensures data is accurate and up-to-date, to enable the team to respond quickly to analysis requests.
What You’ll Bring

·  2+ years of experience in an Ecommerce, Analytics or Fashion Merchandising role.
·  Relevant qualification in a fashion-related or commerce-related subject, or equivalent experience.
·  Strong numerical acumen, with experience of identifying commercial opportunities.
·  Significant influencing skills, with the ability to build valuable relationships with important stakeholders.
