Your mission

About your Role:

The Medical Advisor is the medical and scientific referent on the indications/brands under his/her responsibility (Dermocosmetics/Dermatology mainly, with support to PharmaCare portfolio) . He/She represents Pierre Fabre with healthcare professionals, patient associations and healthcare authorities. He/she has in charge to define and execute the medical & patient centric strategy on the indications/brands under his/her responsibility in the country to which he/she is attached and guarantees the accuracy and medical relevance of all initiatives. The medical advisor works in total respect of high ethics and compliance standards.

More precisely about your missions:

- Based on the medical and patient strategy developed at the corporate level, define the medical and patient centricity strategy on the indications/brands under its responsibility, ensuring alignment with the specific needs of the country.

- Deploy all the activities of the medical plans of the indications/brands under his/her responsibility

- Develop long-term relationships/partnerships with and guarantee the high-quality knowledge of key external medical interlocutors.

- Coordinate the organization of meetings between Pierre Fabre and external medical interlocutors on the indications/brands

- Monitor the deployment and impact of the medical plan

- Set up and manage clinical study projects and coordinate projects with healthcare professionals on the indications/brands under his/her responsibility

- Generate all content and orchestrate the omnichannel dissemination of medical data.

- Provide medical expertise on the products and therapeutic indications for which he/she is responsible to local cross-functional teams.

- Collect and share (locally & with Regional/Corporate medical teams) needs and insights on the indications/brands under his/her responsibility at territorial level.

- Guarantee the updating of scientific knowledge on the therapeutic indications for which he/she is responsible.

- Ensure the quality, consistency and medical compliance of all non-promotional and promotional medical content developed by the marketing teams on the indications/brands under his/her responsibility

- Validate the relevance and accuracy of all medical projects.

- Ensure the sharing of good medical practices between teams at the Regional and Corporate levels.

- Inspire and promote new ways of working adapted to the local context.

- Participate in the development of dossiers for health authorities in collaboration with regulatory affairs and other relevant departments.

- Define, in collaboration with regional medical director and in alignment with the GM of the country, the medical budget on the indications/brands under his responsibility and ensure its follow-up throughout the year.

- Ensure that all medical activities comply with ethical and regulatory standards on the indications/brands under his/her responsibility in the country.

About you

- Advanced degree in life sciences (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD, , MS) with prior experience in Medical Affairs Department in the Pharma Industry setting, notably in the Dermatology field;
- Perfect knowledge of patients’ needs in dermatology.
- Knowledge of clinical medicine, disease management, and medical research in at least one therapeutic area, Dermatology preferred;
- Preferably experience of interacting with HCPs on a peer-to-peer basis
- Microsoft literate;
- Fluent level of English;
- Have high ethical standards and recognized personal integrity;
- Interpersonal skills with ability to create and sustain credible relationships with HCPs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to give lectures and training on medical science topics to groups of varying sizes;
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines;
- Ability to design and moderate medical meetings to facilitate peer-to-peer discussions.
- Willing to travel with overnight stays;
