Job description
Pernod Ricard has established itself as number one in the premium segment and number two in the Wines & Spirits sector operating through over 80 affiliates and 70 countries worldwide, with approximately 18,000 employees.
Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët (MMPJ), prestige Cognac and Champagne branch of Pernod Ricard, is composed of the oldest cognac House and 2 of the most prestigious champagne brands in the world. The role of a brand owner is to manage production and plants and develop the brands overall strategy in close relationships with Market Companies.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Brand Education:
- Inspire and educate local Marketing and Sales teams, and local distributor sales forces.
- Play a role of mentor for staff and consumers for key trade accounts.
- Convert influencers (consumers, trade, media,…) to the brand through education and tasting.
Brand Activation:
- Support all consumer and trade promotional activities: implementation, tracking and evaluation.
- Be the “brand face” during Brand events and dinners.
- Be the “eyes and ears” on the market: investigate and report on key competitor activities, new products, new trends.
Influencer Marketing:
- Develop, build and manage relationships with key influencers (consumers, trade, media, digital influencers) and VVIP’s.
- Manage an on-going relationship with key flagship trade partners to deliver incremental business.
- Explore opportunities amongst identified targeted tribes and HNWI’s.
Digital Amplification:
- Contribute to develop the MMPJ brands notoriety and image by feeding key social media platforms.
- Ensure events and brand activities promotion and coverage through the presence of digital key influencers (social media, blog, online media,…).
- Contribute to the building of the online consumers database.
Reporting:
- Report monthly information such as key activities and market intelligence data to local and International team.
- Provide regular best practice sharing and activity updates on internal Pernod Ricard online networks.
PROFILE
- You have a University or Business School Degree
- You are a Wines & Spirits enthusiast and connoisseur
- You have an international mindset and an interest in the French culture
- You have previous successful experience in Marketing / Sales / Hospitality / Restaurants & Bars
- You are fluent in French and English
- You are outgoing, dynamic, proactive
- You are autonomous, creative and have an entrepreneurial mindset
- You have a digital mindset and are social media savvy
- You are reliable and hardworking with an ability to deliver quality executions on time and control budgets
- You have strong communication skills in multicultural environments
- You have integrity and ethics (responsible alcohol consumption and behaviour)
