Overview
As a Project Management Degree Apprentice at NUVIA, you will join a structured development programme combining academic study with hands-on project delivery experience. From the outset, you’ll work alongside experienced Project Managers supporting live projects across highly regulated nuclear environments. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of nuclear projects, including decommissioning, construction, waste management, commissioning, defence and wider infrastructure development. Throughout the programme you will “earn while you learn”, developing core project management capabilities, building professional behaviours and contributing to meaningful work that shapes the future of the nuclear industry. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll take on increasing levels of responsibility while being guided and supported by an experienced team of professionals.
Desired profile
Your Day‑to‑Day Tasks May Include:
- Supporting project managers with planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities
- Tracking project progress and updating logs, plans, risks, issues, and actions
- Preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Attending project meetings, capturing minutes, and following up on agreed actions
- Assisting with resource coordination and helping ensure project tasks are completed on time
- Helping monitor project budgets, forecasts, and expenditure
- Maintaining organised project files, registers, and SharePoint or Teams sites
- Communicating with team members and stakeholders to gather updates and share information
- Contributing to the identification and management of project risks and dependencies
- Supporting continuous improvement by reviewing lessons learned and suggesting process enhancements
- Gaining hands‑on experience within a functional team (e.g., PMO Engineering, Finance, Commercial), supporting day‑to‑day activities to understand how the function contributes to successful project delivery

Entry Requirements
- GCSEs: Grade 5-9 (A*-C) in Maths and English
- A-Levels: Minimum 3 A-Levels (A*-C) or equivalent qualifications
Additional Requirements
- Must be eligible for security and medical clearance
- Willingness to travel across multiple UK sites
