We are looking for people passionate about working with data to join the BASES Forecasting Innovation team. Are you excited about working in the consumer package goods industry? What classes, internships and/or work experience have you had to prepare you to help clients by looking at trends in data to figure out what's next, forecasting sales for a new product, or using statistics to determine which decisions may be the least risky?

Job Purpose

·  To execute marketing research studies by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting marketing research data, writing client reports, and constructing presentations.
·  Generates initial draft of forecast results, analyses, and reports, summarizing outcomes, conclusions and recommendations in a concise, client-friendly manner.
·  Supports commercial teams in meeting revenue goals by developing strong forecast analysts, ensuring a high degree of forecast accuracy and supporting high profile and complex forecasting discussions with the client

Responsibilities

·  Accountable for high quality first draft of forecasts
·  Drive forecast development and activation for marketing research studies by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting marketing research data
·  Reviews data for errors and inconsistencies
·  Understands and learns to consult on activation and marketing plans
·  Prepares inputs and runs forecasting models
·  Develops preliminary forecast summaries
·  Understands and learns to analyze in-market data and other available Nielsen data to inform forecasts
·  Executes validations, launch management and/or tracking
·  Prepares initial client correspondence and forecast deliverables
·  Participates in client meetings and presentations as needed
·  Develop basic understanding of demand metrics (Factors for Success and volumetric key measures) and how they influence sales

·  Work effectively with Demand teams to execute projects
·  Understand client needs and adapt forecast inputs appropriately
