Panel Manager

Job Purpose

This role is accountable for the multi-generational development with Technology for the Panel Management platform (Platform and algorithm included) and within the DJ2020 (C-DAR) platform.
Responsible for driving panel management and recruitment capabilities and defining the related operational processes to significantly enhance the current panel design and capabilities
Driving stakeholder engagement and communication across global and regional/local teams to proactively manage deployment timelines and mitigate against any slippages

Job Responsibilities

1. Own the multigenerational strategic roadmap for Panel Management to ensure business needs are met for both functionality and productivity attainment
2. Own and manage the IO relationship with Technology and ensure the right prioritization is followed
3. Lead the streamlining of Panel management, sample database, and recruitment related processes, from Project proposal to Project Go Live.
4. Lead the development effort from concept through requirements, build, testing and deployment by providing direction, prioritization, and monitoring of progress at each phase to deliver on time, functional solutions to the business
5. Facilitate the estimation process for new initiatives and change requests and monitor adherence to original timings for business commitments
6. Determine prioritization of development based on trade-off decisions to ensure most impactful ROI for each area of development for the module
7. Proactively identify mitigation opportunities for productivity gaps through functional capabilities and deployment accelerations
8. Acts as SPOC for global module engagement on all panel related topics within IO, outside IO (Tech, DSci, PL) and outside Nielsen (External Clients) if needed
9. Own the global standards for operational processes by defining and maintaining the operational standards (SOPs), operational flows and training content

Role Requirements

⦁ 3+ years of projects experience with large technology-enabled programs/initiatives or 3 years' experience with Nielsen tech-enabled products/services/stakeholders or equivalent experience
⦁ 3+ years experience managing consumer panels of households or individuals, loyalty panels, retail panels in both developed and developing markets
⦁ Proficient understanding of panel and sample design strategies
⦁ Strong relationship management and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively with Nielsen associates across functions
⦁ Ability to work across countries with different stakeholders
⦁ Exceptional communication skills
⦁ Fluent in English
⦁ Flexible to work across timezones in challenging situations and deliver on tight project timelines
⦁ Ability to work thru challenges and manage multiple high priority activities concurrently
⦁ Experience in market research data collection and/or technology a plus
⦁ Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to execute
