Associate, Production Finance - Nonfiction (LATAM)

Job description

The Production Finance Associate position will be based in our Mexico City office supporting our nonfiction Netflix Production Finance executives and working with production services companies with a focus on Latin America. This role will also support cross-functional teams protecting company financial exposure through production oversight and controls.
·  Work closely and collaboratively with numerous other Netflix teams including physical production, business affairs, post production, creative, and corporate accounting.
·   Collaboration with regional production services companies, Production Accountants, and Producers 
·  Work effectively and decisively within the Netflix International team to coordinate with third party production companies who are producing local content for Netflix
·  Assist with budget and cost report tracking, provide commentary on submitted reports throughout the life-cycle of a production 
·  Coordinate production data feeds with domestic and international accounting software
·  Process show fundings in accordance with deals and schedules
·  Track show fundings and schedules and update cash forecasts accordingly
·  Track budget drafts and notes
·  Ensure production cost reports are submitted timely
·  Map budgets to Netflix chart of accounts, update to internal Netflix production database
·  Cost report and budget comparisons and analysis
·  Onboard production services company accounting teams to Netflix policies and procedures
·  Assist with auditing select production accounts payable, journal entry, and payroll records
·  Ad hoc projects and analysis as needed
