Sr. Associate Brand Manager KIND - NYC/NWK

Job Purpose / Overview :

This role leads the development of brand initiatives that reflect current consumer and customer insights and deliver business/financial requirements, across the KIND Designated Categories businesses. This role leads the development and execution of marketing and innovation programs designed to reach more consumers, convert more transactions, and add more value to the KIND brand.

The Sr. Associate Brand Manager reports into the KIND Brand Manager and is accountable for flawlessly executing programs/initiatives to fulfill long-term overall brand objectives and strategies on time and on budget.

What are we looking for?

Knowledge & Minimum Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or related area of study
·  MBA preferred
·  2-3+ years’ experience in brand marketing
·  Excellent Communication, negotiation and planning skills
·  Microsoft Suite proficiency
·  Excellent written and oral communication skills

What would be your key responsibilities?

Principal Accountabilities

·  Support the development of future innovation pipeline for the KIND brand, leading projects at various phases from early insights to launch execution.
·  Leverage insights attained from data in proposing business strategies, brand recommendations and consumer promotions.
·  Lead execution of brand plans that support the growth and profit objectives of KIND Designated Categories. Recommend marketing programs that improve return on investment. Responsible for executing activity set within budget.
·  Support the execution of the annual marketing programs. Manage promotions, and other marketing mix elements (e.g., packaging changes) through activity management process as required.
·  Track and monitor brand health metrics and recommend corrective measures if necessary.
·  Co-lead (with activity management) cross functional team of resources on key initiatives.
·  Co-manage agency execution on a day-to-day basis (e.g. shopper marketing, advertising, consumer promotion, PR, media, digital etc.)
·  Working with customer marketing, enable the Sales Team for selling and executional success through best-in-class selling materials
·  Lead and foster a highly motivated cross-functional team
