Context

To become the reference in Health and Nutrition, Royal Canin has to continue to push boundaries and to keep the leadership in term of Innovation and especially in product performance globally for Royal Canin.

The Pet Product Performance Officer is responsible for :

·  Guaranteeing global monitoring and tracking of Product Performance to remain the Market leader in every region and feed continuous improvement process
·  Managing and coordinating the Product Performance measurements of the current product portfolio in all the regions and to communicate the results
·  Managing and coordinating animal trials when a new production facility is created or used

This position operates from Royal Canin headquarters and collaborates globally.

This is a transversal job, implying interactions with the following departments: Quality &Food Safety, Marketing, Regions, Supply, Legal and all R&D teams to be able to plan and implement continuous improvement.

Active collaboration with the different Mars Petcare communities (Product Performance, Methodologies and Welfare) is also part of the job.

Key Responsibilities

Define and pilot globally the Monitoring Plans with Royal Canin Regional team

·  Select and define the products from Drive territories to monitor in collaboration with the regions
·  Define the way of operating within the teams
·  Build the Product Performance budget and capabilities resources
·  Partner and negociate with Mars R&D to share capabilities in some specific countries

Excecute tracking of Product performance

·  Help to supply products to monitor Product Performance
·  Plan to ensure Product Performance Monitoring delivery on time
·  Follow up budget and ressources (annual budget of 1M€)
·  Collect and consolidate all data to build reports and dashboards for all regions/ brands

Share and communicate Product Performance with the different stackeholders

·  Update reports and share Regional and Brands dashboard
·  Update, feed and share Mars Product Performance System Dashboard
·  Update and share with R&D teams (Quality &Food Safety, Product Performance Improvement) to identify where continuous improvement should be implemented to keep the leadership on product performance

Define and evaluate globally product performance when a new production facility is used

·  Validate on an animal point of view a new production facility
·  Own the animal trial plan, planning and budget estimation for animal trials linked to the project
·  Choose methodology : Build a representative animal trial plan to ensure an equal global product performance
·  Build/update knowledge about the actual market and product supply

Support Deploy additional test

·  Key contact for test planification, methodology choice and sharing results

Support Marketing regional

·  Key contact for test planification, methodology choice and sharing results

Profile

Education

MSc (Engineer B+5) and/or DMV,

Fluent in English

Experience

·  3+ years experience in a company
·  Experience with Cat & Dog external panels (agencies) and/or facilities.
·  Knowledge / experience in collaborating with R&D, Marketing, Supply chain/ Logistics departments
·  Comfortable with data management
·  Good communication skills
