Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
Spa Specialists support key spa operations and help create a memorable guest experience. They promote spa services and retail products, manage reservations, answer guest questions, check in guests, and handle payments. They must follow safety standards, company policies, and maintain a professional appearance. The role requires physical activity, such as standing or walking for long periods and lifting up to 10 lbs (25 lbs with assistance).
CRITICAL TASKS
Safety & Security: Follow safety guidelines, use proper equipment, report accidents, and follow emergency procedures.
Policies & Procedures: Protect guest privacy, maintain professional appearance, and follow all company rules.
Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly, understand their needs, assist with questions, and provide excellent service.
Scheduling & Check-In: Manage spa reservations, confirm appointments, check in guests, update schedules, and explain spa facilities.
Communication: Answer phones politely, use professional language, and communicate discreetly.
Working with Others: Support coworkers and maintain positive teamwork.
Quality Assurance: Meet brand standards.
Physical Tasks: Stand, walk, lift items, and move safely through different surfaces.
Closing Duties: Clean and organize work areas and complete checklists.
Cash Handling: Process payments accurately, follow audit procedures, manage cash banks, and maintain cashier station.
Steps of Service: Ensure guest satisfaction, answer service questions, and coordinate wait times and product availability.
Promoting Services: Promote and sell spa services and retail products, recording guest preferences when needed.
