Located right in the heart of Berlin, between Ku’Damm and the Brandenburg Gate, the hotel offers 500 guest rooms and suites, as well as meeting and conference rooms for up to 2,500 people, providing ample space for a wide variety of events. HELP US TO SHINE!
• You lead the team and, as Team Lead, address all concerns of your team members
• You work closely with Front of House Management and conscientiously implement JW Marriott standards
• At night, you are the first point of contact for our guests and are available to address all concerns—in person and by phone
• You enjoy training new employees or trainees
• Checking in and out our domestic and international guests is more of a passion than a job for you
• You independently handle all billing in our PMS (Opera)
• You verify payment guarantees (C/I) and ensure accurate billing (C/O)
• You collect the daily takings from all F&B outlets and perform the daily closing and nightly run
• You review credit card statements and manage sales
• You advise our guests on the location, amenities, and full range of services offered by our hotel
• From time to time, you will make restaurant reservations or similar arrangements for our guests
• You will conduct regular security patrols, monitor entrances and exits, and ensure that all emergency exits are clear and accessible
• You will maintain close collaboration with all departments to ensure a unique hotel experience
• You value our guests’ praise and feedback, as you play an essential role in achieving our satisfaction goals
• You will manage bookings and prepare reports and statistics
SHOW US YOUR TALENTS!
• Completed hotel management training and/or a degree in hotel or tourism management
• Solid experience in the front office
• Initial leadership experience
• Warm, authentic, and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English; any additional languages are a welcome bonus
• Knowledge of Opera is a plus, but not required
