Aloft San Jose Cupertino is currently looking for a part time hybrid Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor, you will be responsible for providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner. Additionally, the Night Auditor is responsible for creating accounting and managerial reports. The Night Auditor also prepares for the next day’s business activities. Demands accuracy with the daily accounting procedures. To perform this job successfully, the employee will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently, with or without reasonable accommodation.

What you will be responsible for:

Check-in and check-out hotel guests in a confident, professional, and friendly manner
Initiate call back after check-in to ensure guest is satisfied with accommodations as well as offer any assistance
Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day or night
Complete all items as listed on shift checklists
Review all prior shift work, including reservation arrivals
Complete final manual postings for all miscellaneous income departments
Balance all miscellaneous income departments against vouchers, tape totals, and property management system totals
Initiate Night Audit process in the Property Management System, Lightspeed
Prepare all next day guest reservations arrivals
Prepare all management reports for hotel management

Essential to succeed in this role:

Ability to work well under pressure of check-in/check-out of guests and manage multiple tasks at once
Previous hotel front desk experience
High school graduate
Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance
Must be able to work evenings and overnight shifts
Must be able to work Friday and Saturday.

 

$19 for PM shifts, $21 for overnight shifts

The hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 to $21.00.
