W Brisbane located at 81 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000 is hiring a Marketing Executive. The Marketing Executive will be responsible for executing marketing initiatives across multiple venues while supporting the Director of Marketing and the day-to-day execution of the hotel marketing plan and marketing channels.

You will be a highly motivated and creative individual with previous experience including but not limited to: project management of marketing activations, managing all digital platforms – HWS, microsites, EDM, social media – organic, paid and community management, management of content including photoshoots, video shoots and file management.  You will also support with the management of collateral, partnerships, PR activities and monthly reports.

 

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or minimum 2-3year’s experience in a similar role, preferably in the Hospitality Industry

• Strong copywriting skills. Experience in drafting engaging marketing communications across a variety of channels and mediums

• Experience in social media strategy, management and content creation

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva or equivalent

• Excellent organisational, project management and stakeholder management abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of local market and consumer trends is a plus
