JOB SUMMARY

The Manager eCommerce, EMEA will play a key role in driving Marriott’s digital direct strategy through content and product optimisation in multiple languages at key customer touchpoints across Marriott’s web and app channels. These include global platforms, such as Marriott.com and the Marriott Bonvoy Mobile App, as well as regional platforms. In line with commercial needs and regional marketing priorities, the Manager eCommerce, EMEA will work closely with global and regional product teams, as well as regional marketing and commercial teams on platform development, localisation and optimisation efforts to deliver best-in-class digital experiences to Marriott’s customers within EMEA. The ideal candidate for this role is multilingual (English + at least one other European language) and has a proven expertise in digital platform localisation and optimisation. In addition to excellent stakeholder management skills, this role will also require strong analytical skills.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Required Education and Experience

·  3+ years’ experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, content management or related function
·  2+ years’ experience with digital measurement, tracking methods and analysis (preferably Adobe Analytics)
·  University degree in Digital Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field
·  Strong proficiency in English + at least one other European language

Preferred

·  Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform products (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Workfront)
·  General understanding of UX and digital design principles
·  Strong stakeholder management, communication and relationship building skills
·  Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
·  Exceptionally detail-oriented, able to demonstrate error-free documentation and focus on accuracy
·  Ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams in support of specific business priorities
·  Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and changing priorities
·  Excellent team player; flexible and accommodating to the needs of the team
·  Project and/or agency management experience

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

·  Support the Senior Manager eCommerce, EMEA in setting and executing the digital direct content and product optimisation strategy for EMEA
·  Work closely with EMEA Marketing and Commercial teams to support digital marketing activities and commercial needs across digital direct channels
·  Manage content intake processes, content calendars and channel planning for all digital direct channels in all supported languages
·  Manage the creation and optimisation of continent-wide campaign landing pages in all supported languages and work closely with the Manager Digital Merchandising, EMEA on all targeted merchandising activities
·  Monitor platform, landing pages and content performance for all digital direct channels in all supported languages and provide regular reporting
·  Drive product and content optimisation, testing and innovation to improve customer experience, internal workflows and platform performance
·  Support global and regional digital teams in platform development, localisation and optimisation projects
·  Manage small-to-midsize regional localisation and optimisation project
