Job Summary
Provides design solutions from concept to completion with substantial creativity, innovation, and technical expertise in areas of communication, technology, and business. Evaluates client's product or service goals, their competitors and target audience while also protecting the client's overall brand strategy. To create audio and/or visual communication solutions from the manipulation and combination of shape, color, imagery, typography, space, and audio/visual media. Monitors and coordinates the production of materials and overall workflow within a creative services department; leading and guiding the work of other designers.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
·
Bachelor in Computer Graphics or a related field; and 5-year experience in Computer Designer role and experience in social media preferred.
·
Advanced knowledge and proven experience with Adobe products such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
·
Video editing and Web authoring software experience.
·
Online media and methods of producing web materials experience, such as HTML, CSS, Flash and current Social Media Channels.
·
Experience with Photo and Video production and art direction.
·
Experience with online social channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook)
·
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

Conceptualizes, problem solves, plans, creates, and supervises original layout and creative work from concept to completion, while adhering to or in some cases helping to define the product or service's brand standards and strategy.

Develops creative design, original graphics, and production layout and provides marketing support.

Provides design solutions from concept to completion with substantial creativity, innovation, and technical expertise in areas of communication, technology, and business.

Consults and works with marketing staff to ascertain needs and develop graphic directions, concepts and specifications for assigned projects; coordinating with such to help distribute and integrate as needed the resulting information and graphics.

Evaluates a client's product or service goals, their competitors, and target audience, while also protecting the client's overall brand strategy, to create audio and/or visual communication solutions from the manipulation and combination of shape, color, imagery, typography, space, and audio/visual media.
·
Plans, schedules, and assigns creative services projects, and plans production schedules, projects development costs and develops budgets and workflow.
·
Manages document flow within the office and with external parties, including freelance designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers, printers and other external vendors.
·
Monitors and coordinates the production process for printed materials; develops and monitors printing and/or other production specifications, and selects appropriate production media and materials such as ink, paper and production methods; inspects proofs for accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
·
Monitors the concept and creation of original graphics in support of online media including websites, email, and social media channels.
·
Monitors the maintenance of digital assets, saving and archiving assets and creative projects appropriately, making recommendations when new assets are required to meet evolving marketing needs within the company; providing art direction, photo research and maintaining proper copyright verification as needed.
·
Monitors the development and maintenance of brand and hotel graphic standards, assisting with integration of new standards and elements, printing or other production specifications, across multiple media channels as needed.
·
Provides technical advice and guidance to production personnel, property marketing and corporate marketing staff on design and technical graphics issues.
