Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of Aloft Abu Dhabi, working closely with the Marketing & Communications team to create high-impact designs for both digital and print media. You will be responsible for crafting visually striking content that aligns with the Aloft brand standards, from promotional materials and social media content to in-house signage and event collateral.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Brand Consistency: Ensure all design work adheres to Marriott and Aloft brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across all touchpoints.
·  Creative Design: Develop eye-catching graphics for social media, websites, email campaigns, print materials, and on-property signage.
·  Content Creation: Collaborate with the Marketing team to produce compelling digital content, including animations, videos, and visuals for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
·  Event Collateral: Design promotional materials for hotel events, including flyers, banners, invitations, and menus.
·  Photography & Editing: Assist with hotel photoshoots and edit images to be used across various marketing platforms.
·  Innovation & Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technology, ensuring Aloft Abu Dhabi’s marketing materials remain fresh, modern, and ahead of the curve
·  Collaboration: Work with internal departments, such as F&B, Sales, and Events, to create custom designs tailored to their specific needs and objectives

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
·  Minimum 2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury industry.
·  Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.).
·  Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, from digital to print.
·  Understanding of social media platforms and their visual content requirements.
·  Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
·  Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
·  Photography and video editing skills are a plus.
