JOB SUMMARY
About the Role
As the Director of Rooms , you will lead and shape the strategic direction of our Rooms department at the iconic London Marriott Hotel County Hall. You’ll oversee the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of our guestroom offerings, ensuring they exceed brand standards and delight our guests. With a focus on exceptional service delivery, operational excellence, and revenue growth, you'll foster a culture of innovation and collaboration while supporting team development and satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
· Lead with Vision: Inspire and guide the Rooms team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, driving the brand’s service ethos and aligning departmental strategies with overall business goals.
· Drive Results: Oversee room rates, promotions, and revenue strategies to maximize profitability, closely monitoring sales and performance metrics.
· Optimize Operations: Review and refine operational strategies for front office, housekeeping, and related areas to ensure seamless, efficient, and guest-centric processes.
· Elevate Customer Experiences: Champion service excellence, analyse guest feedback, and implement improvements to continually exceed expectations.
· Support Your Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop talent, fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace culture that empowers employees to perform at their best.

Qualifications
· Experience:
· Proven expertise in guest services, front desk operations, housekeeping, or related areas.
· A track record of delivering operational and financial success in a luxury or upscale hospitality environment.
