Job description

The Director of Revenue manages the financial strategies Lapita, Dubai Parks & Resorts, Autograph Collection Hotel to maximize total revenue and profit from guest rooms. Responsible for pricing, positioning, and inventory management across the Resort. Develop and recommend sales strategies for transient, wholesale, and group segments, identify new revenue opportunities, and effectively communicate strategies to key stakeholders. Maintain productive relationships with the General Manager and other commercial leaders on property and the organization. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

·  2-year degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Hotel Management, or related field; multiple years of experience in revenue management in a leading role .

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Analyzing and Reporting Revenue Data

·  Analyze data to identify trends, potential issues, and solutions.
·  Provide regular updates on transient bookings and patterns.
·  Maintain accurate information in reservation systems and distribution channels.
·  Submit timely, accurate reports and analyze data to forecast and set goals.
·  Develop annual room revenue budgets.

Managing Revenue Strategy

·  Support property leaders in developing sales strategies.
·  Lead revenue management efforts and test new revenue opportunities.
·  Ensure sales strategies and rate restrictions are updated and effective.
·  Recommend ways to improve revenue management practices.

Building Productive Relationships

·  Share brand initiatives, demand insights, and market analysis with hotel teams.
·  Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of results and challenges.

Additional Responsibilities

·  Keep executives, peers, and subordinates updated with relevant information.
·  Maintain accurate records and gather information to support project goals.
·  Communicate effectively by phone, email, and in person.
