TASK SCOPE
Marriott International is seeking a Coordinator, Field Marketing to join the Field Marketing Services function within the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands (ANZP) above property regional marketing team. This role will support the team’s function of driving awareness and incremental revenue to hotels within the ANZP region through integrated marketing across owned, earned and paid channels and will assist in the roll-out of marketing and communications initiatives within the ANZP region, in accordance with the company’s global strategic objectives.
Additionally, the role will provide marketing support to property level teams, to ensure compliance and participation with applicable policies and initiatives, and to promote knowledge and best practice sharing.
The role will also work closely with other ANZP above property teams, including Marriott Digital Service (MDS), as well as Asia Pacific Excluding China continent team and global brand, loyalty and PR teams as required.
The position will report directly into the Director, Field Marketing – ANZP. The role is suitable for applicants with qualifications in marketing and communications looking to start their marketing careers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist in the implementation of above property marketing initiatives across loyalty, brand, MICE and food and beverage (F&B) within the ANZP region
· Assist in the development of partnership and event activations and project manage from outset through to activation, including venue, supplier and partner liaison, run sheets and management of invitations and RSVPs
· Prepare briefs and liaise with agencies on regional marketing projects and campaigns
· Support with Media & KOL famil requests
· Assist with media assets development
· Develop reports and post-activity analysis
· Lead the report building for the field marketing team on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
· Build and implement content calendars for the field marketing team, such as email marketing, social media content, and other digital channels.
· Research and report on consumer and market insights and implement learnings and/or act on opportunities where applicable
· Manage project budget trackers and process department invoices
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
MARKETING & COMMERCIAL:
· Sound understanding of marketing principles
· Analytical nature – can interpret data into insights and actions
· Knowledge of Australian media landscape – including Media publications and KOLs
· Commercially minded with business acumen
· Creative thinker with ability to connect creativity to business outcomes
GENERAL:
· Strong customer service orientation: takes initiative, anticipates needs
